if you’re down for breaking free from the wedding norm, swapping heels for hiking boots, and embracing adventure, you’re in the right place.

The day you say “I do” shouldn’t be focused on how you can make other people happy with the way you chose to celebrate. That’s why I’m SUCH a big advocate for couples to elope, so that their elopement day is 100% customized to them and what they love/do as a couple!

So, here are some things that you provide yourself with the freedom to do by ditching the idea that you HAVE to have a traditional wedding that doesn’t feel true to you:

1. Go whale watching in the PNW! I’m just dreaming of the shots we’d get on the back of the boat with the coast in the background… talk about DREAMY.

2. Hit up a diner in a place you’ve never been and share your first meal together as a married couple! (as a gal who is KNOWN for getting hangry… I might be suggesting this one a little selfishly.

3. Visit a cattery and get drinks while you soak in all the kitty love! Bonus points if you adopt a pet while we’re there so we can make your first family portrait.

4. Check out a local museum (at whatever destination we choose to travel to, of course) to look at art AND of course, get some dreamy artsy photos while we’re there. Fun fact: I really want to do a session in an art gallery… like really badly. ??

5. Head to the library/bookstore and pick out some books to read on your honeymoon!! I’m a total sucker for the dark academia aesthetic so fair warning… not sure how quiet I’ll be when I’ll be gushing over how cute you are.

… can y’all tell I’m already totally living vicariously through you?

If this sounds like your vibe, we just might be the perfect match for your elopement adventure.
