Look, it’s easy to get caught up in social media and the opinions of others. But remember, we’re only seeing the highlights of other people’s lives—the stuff they want to show you. So, if you need to, take a break from social media and focus on your own journey. Surround yourself with loving and supportive people who see your endless value and encourage you to be your best self.

Remind yourself of your identity every day

I am such a big supporter of doing affirmations daily!! I have an app called “I am” that sends me affirmations in my notifications all. day. long. and it’s been such a great help for me as I work on completely revamping my mindset and my self-concept. This is also incredibly important leading up to your session or before your wedding day, so that you can show up as fully confident and unapologetically you.

Practice presence when perfectionism tries to creep in

Perfectionism can be a major roadblock on the path to personal growth. When you find yourself getting caught up in the idea of being perfect, take a step back and practice being present in the moment. These are the moments you’re never going to want to forget, so be all in, fully here.

Remember, you are more than enough just as you are and beyond worthy of all the love and beauty that life has to offer you. Time spent comparing ourselves to someone we were never meant to be is simply time wasted.
