A lover of all things adventurous, full of light, and buzzing with life, I seek to close the gap for the youthful and vibrant who want a photographer that will follow them along on whatever journey they've dreamt up.
My whimsical, earth-tone photos capture the energy of each couple and their unique love story. What truly makes me stand out? My understanding of what it means to scratch the itch of adventure and my love for all things unorthodox when it comes to your elopement.
It speaks to my meticulous approach to composition, lighting, and editing, ensuring that each image exudes a sense of grace and refinement.
It reflects my belief in the enduring power of authentic storytelling and genuine emotion, creating images that resonate with viewers long after the moment has passed.
It speaks to my ability to capture the essence of a moment, drawing viewers into the narrative and leaving them captivated by the beauty captured within each frame.
East Texas born and raised, I started my business, believe it or not, in the front row of my 12th-grade Government class. When a friend of mine expressed her frustration In not being able to find a photographer for her senior photos within her budget, I was overcome with compassion and the desire to help her capture this important season of her life. Having recently gotten a camera to take photos of flowers, my dog, or anything that closely resembled my beloved "tumblr girl aesthetic" at the time, I figured "hey, I've got a camera, surely I can do this!" I had previously taken some engagement photos for a church friend, per my mom's request, and loved it, so who's to say I couldn't charge a little bit of cash and see how things went?
Sure enough, after I posted those photos, along with some photos I took of another close friend for the sake of practice, I had another friend ask me, and another, and another. Long story short, I fell In love with the art, the inquiries continued to roll In, and here I am, seven years later, and more In love with this photography biz of mine than the day I began. Fast forward seven years later and my lil sentimental soul has fallen head over heels for the adventure it is to capture love in its most raw, intentional forms.
It all started with my obsession with Tumblr, where I fell in love with the idea of capturing those dreamy, aesthetic moments. Every opportunity to take photos felt like another way to recreate the vibes I loved. I spent hours browsing and creating inspiration boards, experimenting with angles, and learning how to tell a story through each image.
My heart broke when a friend from church couldn't afford senior photos, so I jumped at the chance to shoot her session, just wanting her to have something special to look back on. I charged her $60 for a two-hour shoot, and that simple act opened the door to more and more people asking me to capture their moments. I realized this was something I could not only be good at but also make a difference through.
Once I got a taste of what photography could be, I dove headfirst into weddings and second shooting gigs. Every time I shadowed a photographer or helped shoot a wedding, I was learning something new, growing, and refining my style. I fell in love with documenting those real, raw moments between people in love, and I knew this was something I wanted to pursue seriously.
One of my most defining moments came when I shot my first courthouse elopement. It rained that day, and instead of the couple being disappointed, we embraced it—we literally danced in the rain, and the photos captured that pure joy. That’s when I realized elopements had this beautiful spontaneity and intimacy that made them unlike anything else. I was hooked.
Traveling for my first out-of-state elopement solidified everything for me. Seeing the adventure and excitement in the couple's eyes, knowing they had chosen this unconventional path that felt true to them, made me realize this is what I wanted to do forever. The mix of love and adventure was the perfect blend for me, and I knew I wanted to keep chasing these moments.
After realizing my passion for adventurous elopements, I knew East Texas wasn’t where I could grow this dream. So, I made the bold decision to move to Salt Lake City, where the landscapes were vast, the mountains were calling, and my passion for photography could thrive. I wanted to capture more love stories that celebrated adventure, intentionality, and raw emotion, and moving here allowed me to pursue that dream with my whole heart.
